Lisa Bousba is a graduate student in European Law at Paris-Est Créteil University and an undergraduate student in Nordic Studies at Sorbonne Université. Her academic interests focus on EU–Nordic relations, European law, environmental governance, and the growing strategic importance of the Arctic.
She plans to write her Master's thesis on "Europe through a Nordic Lens: Legal Specificities, Social and Environmental Models, and Regional Governance in the Construction of European Law." The thesis will explore how Nordic legal, social, and environmental approaches interact with EU law and policy, with particular attention to Arctic governance as an emerging geopolitical and legal issue.
